Misty Lake

At the foot of the mountain rests a lake. Around noon everyday, mist clouds the lake, making it difficult to see. Fairies and water youkai tend to play around here.

Untrodden Valley

The river located at the mountain's base connects to the mountain and serves as a hideout for various kappa. Those lucky enough to gain a kappa's trust can explore, those not so lucky should be wary about being prey.

Moriya Shrine

The Moriya shrine used to spread religion in the outside world, but its gods and itself moved to the peak of Youkai Mountain. It rivals the Hakurei shrine when it comes to faith, but is much harder to reach due to its location. This doesn't stop its maidens from trying to help the shrine.
